TURNING A TON OF LITTER INTO A TON OF ACTIVISM

They say that "one man's trash is another man's treasure", and for this project I will proving how true that saying is by picking up a ton of litter and recycling it.

But instead of just picking up certain types of litter such as aluminum cans or glass bottles and recycling them for money, I will be taking a ton of miscellaneous litter and converting it into valuable activism-based art!

We already know that littering is a big problem, so for this project I will be using a ton of litter to help raise awareness of other big problems that I see in the world (like "food waste") and to also help raise awareness of the lifestyle choices that I feel could help solve these problems (like "minimalism") and below is a series of pictures from this special project...

Littering is a crime... And so is food-waste... And sometimes people will commit both of these crimes at the same time!



It seems that "Earth Day" is the only major holiday that doesn't result in a lot of litter.
