Man Picks Up 1,000,000 Cigarette Butts In Less Than 6 Months!!! PICKING UP 1,000,000 CIGARETTE BUTTS

This is an aerial photo of me with a million cigarette butts that I found littered throughout the streets where I live.

I picked up 1,000,000 cigarette butts to help raise awareness of the fact that cigarette butts are the most commonly littered item in the world.

I also did this to raise awareness of the fact that cigarette butts are far from being the only form of litter that is related to smoking, and as I picked up a million cigarette butts I also picked up any other litter that I stumbled across that is associated with smoking.

Below is a series of pictures which shows exactly how much other "smoking litter" I ended up finding during my search for a million cigarette butt...

(I'm not telling anyone to quit smoking, I'm just asking people not to litter.)

Before I did this project I thought for sure that the second most common form of smoking litter after cigarette butts would be cigarette packs, but it turns out that the next most common form of smoking litter is actually the plastic filters that are on the ends of cigars. (So in other words, it could be said that "cigarette butts" are number one, and "cigar butts" are number 2.)

I guess this makes sense because a lot of cigars have these "disposable" tips, and if so many people don't mind throwing cigarette butts on the ground they probably aren't going to take the time to properly throw away what is left after smoking cigars either.

And the 3rd most common form of smoking litter is the plastic wrappers from "individually wrapped cigars", which also kind of makes sense because although cigars may not be as popular as cigarettes they tend to be sold individually or in packs of 2, unlike cigarettes which are typically sold in packs of 20, and therefore I actually ended up finding more cigar packaging on the ground than cigarette packaging.

But what is perhaps most notable about this is that the most common brand of plastic filter tips that I found on the ground was from the company "Black & Mild", and the most common brand of plastic wrappers from individually wrapped cigars that I found was also from "Black & Mild"!
