Vegan, Because The World Needs More Compassion!
THE WORLD COULD USE MORE COMPASSION
Whenever we hear predictions about how amazing life and technology will be in the future it is almost always prefaced with a scary and pessimistic statement such as, "If we don't end up blowing up the planet first."
Nothing is more beautiful than compassion, and there is also no higher sign of intelligence than compassion. (Finding ways to peacefully co-exist with each other is the most intelligent thing that we can do for our future, and fighting over our differences is the least intelligent thing that we can do for our future.)
If you fear that there is no hope for humanity to ever become compassionate enough to put all of our our prejudices aside I would like to remind you that none of us were born prejudice, and most young children already have the compassion within them that is needed to heal the world.
Most children will become friends with animals (including the ones that we most commonly eat such as cows, pigs, and chickens) if they spend any time with them and if they aren't "taught" by adults that the only reason these animals exist is for us to eat them.
And if children grow up respecting the life of animals even though animals can look very different than us, then how much less could those children grow up not respecting the life of their fellow humans who happen to be different colors, shapes, and sizes than them?

If you were to ask 100 random people if they are "animal lovers" most of them will say "Yes", and if you ask them what they think about "animal cruelty" almost all of them will say that it is wrong and that it should be illegal.
So if you're an "animal lover" and you wish that "animal cruelty" wasn't going on in the world, I would ask you to please be vegan and let your inner child guide you instead of letting your cultural conditioning guide you.
